Remember When...

Remember when getting high meant swinging on the playground? When protection meant wearing helmet? When the worst thing you could get from boys were cooties?
Dad's shoulders were the highest place on earth and mum was your hero?
Race issues were about who ran the fastest. War was only a card game. And the only drug you knew was cough medicine.
When wearing skirts didn't make you a slut.
The most pain you felt was when you skinned your knees, and goodbyes only meant until tomorrow? And we couldn't wait to grow up... ♥

Saddest Sound...

You know what's one of the saddest sounds in the world?
Children playing. There is just something about sitting in your room by your window, and listening to their joy and laughter. It's like there is some sort of magic going on outside that you can no longer join in on. Something you can no longer grasp. A secret club you can't remember the password to. And you realize that you've grown up.

Mommy!

Promise me you won't love any other girl than me.

So there's someone else? hmmm...
Yes. And she looks exactly like you but younger. And she will call you "mommy!"
